At S3S, our clients are our number 1 priority. So expanding our team with a Customer Care Officer was a logical next step. And when we met Gaëlle Goossens, we immediately knew she was up to the challenge.

Hi Gaëlle, and welcome to S3S! Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Gaëlle: Hi! My name is Gaëlle Goossens, I’m 28 years old and I am the new Customer Care Officer at S3S. Apart from my job, I’m very interested in fashion – I even have my own webshop, Hills Fashion. I also love traveling and sports. Last December I ran my first marathon in Málaga.
Wow, congratulations on finishing!
Gaëlle: Thank you! It was pretty heavy. (laughs)
What did you do before you came to S3S?
Gaëlle: After finishing my studies in Communication Management and HR, I worked as a recruiter for 3 years, but there were few growth opportunities for me. So I decided to quit my job and start my webshop, working as a receptionist on the side. After a couple of years, I was ready for a new challenge. And then I saw the vacancy at S3S.
What attracted you to the job?
Gaëlle: I love personal contact. And as Customer Care Officer, I am constantly in touch with 3 different groups: our customers, our suppliers and my colleagues. I inform clients on when they will receive their orders, I follow up with suppliers, … Simply put: I get to make everyone happy!
Sounds like a fun challenge! How has it been so far?
Gaëlle: Oh, it’s been great. I’ve only been here for 3 weeks, but it already feels like home. Customer Care Officer is a new function at S3S, so in the beginning we still needed to finetune what I would be doing. But we were able to work everything out quickly, so by now I know very well what my responsibilities are.
My colleagues have also been very helpful in explaining all the different codes and names of parts and products – which would have been very intimidating otherwise. (laughs)
How do you see your future at S3S?
Gaëlle: In the next year, my most important goals are to master all the skills necessary for the job, and to become the first point of contact for both customers and suppliers. Looking further into the future, I am sure there will be lots of exciting challenges and opportunities to grow along with the company.
