S3S just keeps on growing – and we’d like to keep it that way in the future. Do you want to help us make this happen? You might just be our ideal Purchasing Manager if you:

get a kick out of getting the best deals and conditions from suppliers,
like exploring multiple vendor sources,
like chasing suppliers on the negotiated shipment dates,
like working in a B2B environment,
are fluent in Dutch and English.

It’s an advantage if you have prior knowledge about servers, computers, and their components. But don’t worry, you don’t need a lot of prior knowledge as long as you are eager to learn.

What will you do?

As a Purchase Manager you will:

be responsible for a series of products,
focus on building long-term partnerships with suppliers and maintaining them,
keep product records up-to-date,
play an important part in our purchase process, from order to delivery, guaranteeing the best possible conditions.
proactively foresee and attend to issues regarding the purchase order flow,
chase and enforce promised lead times,
analyze, forecast, and adapt needed stock levels accordingly.
explore and monitor the supplier landscape for alternative sourcing channels,
gather insights about product market trends,
actively follow new developments and generations on the server and storage market,
have the opportunity to learn about new technologies and develop your skills, through supplier events or trade fairs.
work together with other Purchase Managers and report to the Teamlead Purchase Manager.
